Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts 劍橋視覺與表演藝術學校

Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts (CSVPA) offers pre-university courses in Art & Design, Drama and Music, degree programmes in Fashion and Graphics & Illustration, and a Master's Qualifying programme in Art & Design (including fashion, graphics and illustration). The School is a dynamic creative community with like-minded students and offers you the chance to develop and showcase your talents in exhibitions, an outstanding end-of-year fashion show and full-scale drama productions.

劍橋視覺與表演藝術學校 (CSVPA) 提供關於藝術與設計、戲劇、音樂方面的大學學前課程以及流行、繪圖與插畫大學課程和相當於碩士學位的藝術與設計課程（包括流行、繪圖和插畫）。學校環境充滿藝術活力以及志趣相投的學生。每年的季末服裝秀和盛大的戲劇公演提供學生培養與展現才華的機會。

Thanks to a major redevelopment of our Cambridge site in 2007, our new facilities at Bridge House boast state-of-the-art classrooms and studios as well as brand new dining facilities.

Bridge House overlooks the historic St John's College and Chapel, where we hold our annual Christmas Carol Service in December. It connects to the rest of the campus through a passageway and stairs so that students from both CSVPA and CATS Cambridge can mingle easily.

At CSVPA you will find a total focus on your creative development. You will learn and experiment, engage and create. But most importantly you will be an individual from day one.

Art & Design

。Teaching is delivered on students’ needs using workshop methods and project work.
。A flexible approach is offered – students are encouraged to combine different disciplines and techniques.
。Teaching takes place in small groups – classes are limited to 10 students.
。Specialised English Language tuition in Art & Design is offered as an option.
。Students are taught in spacious new studios.

Music

。Teaching is tailored to the needs of individual students, offering maximum flexibility for study.
。Combines class work and practical teaching on a group and individual basis.
。Individual tuition on main instrument or voice with encouragement to play or learn a second instrument.
。Students can specialise in music technology and studio production.
。Grade 5 Music Theory if required for college or university entrance.

Drama

戲劇

Our School is the only provider of a Drama Foundation course in association with RADA (The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art). The course has been developed under RADA’s direction and is monitored and assessed by its expert staff. Students may therefore expect the highest standards of teaching and assessment during their Foundation year at CSVPA

。Specialist master classes run by professional practitioners and RADA Lecturers.
。Students are taught in the famous ‘Footlights’ studio, at the adjacent ADC Theatre and in spacious new studios.

Homestay

For younger students who may be living away from home for the first time, or for students that prefer a more supportive environment in a Cambridge family setting, homestay is ideal.

College Lodges

學校宿舍

Our College Lodges are ideal for students looking for more independence. Accommodation varies from smaller, traditional Cambridge houses to large College Lodges housing up to 40 students at any one time. All of our Lodges are managed by full-time live-in supervisors that are on hand to help with anything from using the washing machine to getting to the School.

Self-catering

This option is available to older, more independent students and demands a responsible attitude. If we feel more supervision is necessary we will relocate students to somewhere more supervised, such as a College Lodge or Homestay.

專門提供給較年長且獨立負責的學生。不過若我們發現學生需要被監督，我們會再重新將他們安置於有監督的地方，像是學校宿舍或寄宿家庭。
